Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Large bowl
  • Kitchen Towel

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh Green Beans trimmed
  • 1.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil high quality
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced finely
  • 1 tsp Coarse Sea Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper freshly cracked

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Rinse and thoroughly dry the green beans, then trim the stem ends.
  • In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Place the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Check for doneness; beans should be blistered and tender-crisp. Serve immediately.

Notes

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes to restore crispness.
Reheating: Avoid the microwave, which makes the beans soggy. Air fryer reheating works best.
Best Tips: Dry the beans completely after washing to prevent steaming. Shake the basket halfway through for even blistering. Add a squeeze of lemon before serving for brightness.
Variations: Toss with grated parmesan after cooking, add red pepper flakes for heat, or use lemon pepper seasoning for a citrusy twist.
